Insurance Bookkeeper

The Insurance Bookkeeper will play a key role in managing the agency’s day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, commission tracking, and other essential financial record-keeping tasks.

As the agency continues to expand, this role has strong potential to evolve—offering the chance to take on broader financial responsibilities and contribute to the overall financial success of the business.

Commercial Lines Risk Specialist

The Commercial Lines Risk Specialist is a key player in managing a dedicated book of business—handling renewals, remarketing policies when needed, and occasionally supporting new business initiatives. This role is all about building strong client relationships and working collaboratively within a team-focused environment to deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the property and casualty insurance space, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills. You’ll need to be well-versed in the agency’s carrier markets and eager to stay sharp through continuous learning and improvement.

An active Property & Casualty Insurance License is required to ensure industry expertise and compliance. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work hybrid or fully in-office from either our Wolfeboro, NH or Portsmouth, NH location—let’s find the arrangement that works best for you!

Personal Lines Account Manager- New Business Focus

The Personal Lines Account Manager- New Business Focus position will be responsible for managing inbound leads, quoting, and issuing new personal lines policies, and helping grow the agency’s client base. You will work closely with our producers, carriers, and support staff to ensure a seamless and professional client experience from first contact through policy issuance. You will also manage a book of business to provide ongoing, exemplary service to Avery’s valued clients. This role is ideal for a motivated insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, closing new personal lines accounts, and helping expand our client base through referrals, inbound leads, and cross-selling opportunities. While client service is part of the role, the primary focus is onboarding new personal lines accounts through proactive engagement. We’re looking for someone who thrives working with new clients and enjoys the sales process.
