Risk Specialist Apprentice

Robert joined Avery as a Risk Specialist Apprentice working closely with our seasoned commercial team to focus on new business and renewals support. Robert has been in insurance since he graduated from the University of Colorado’s Risk Management and Insurance program.
 
Robert was inspired to explore the insurance profession as a result of going through a workplace injury; his experience with the workers compensation claims process prompted him to become an insurance advocate and help people protect what matters most.
 
His career began in Personal Insurance before pursing an opportunity to utilize his degree working on the Commercial Insurance side.  He is currently working on his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation—a nationally recognized and highly respected insurance professional title. Robert is actively licensed in ME, NH, and MA.
 
Robert lives in Kittery with his wife, Whitney, and their two young children, Hank and Lucy and dog Baxter.
