We’re currently recruiting to fill the following full-time (40 hrs./wk.) positions:

Commercial Risk Specialist (Portsmouth or Wolfeboro Office)

Exciting opportunity for a licensed professional to join our team who will be responsible for writing new business, facilitating remarketing efforts in coordination with Producers and managing a book of business.

Qualifications:

  • Possess at least 3 years of commercial lines experience
  • Hold a P&C Producer’s license in the State of NH; CIC designation a plus
  • Preferably have prior experience with AMS360 or other similar agency management system and superior computer skills
  • Easily adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment, demonstrating poise and professionalism in collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Commitment to Avery’s mission, vision and values

Job Type: Salaried, Exempt. We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus payable following the successful completion of 6-months of employment.


Personal Lines Account Manager (Portsmouth or Wolfeboro Office)

Exciting opportunity for an experienced personal lines insurance professional to develop customized insurance solutions and manage portfolios for our valued clients. The Account Manager will possess extensive knowledge of available markets and underwriting guidelines for placement of client’s risks. He/She manages the full life cycle of writing personal insurance with a focus on building, cultivating and retaining client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Possess at least 2 years of personal lines experience as an Account Manager or similar position
  • Hold a P&C Producer’s license in the State of NH; CIC designation a plus
  • Preferably have prior experience with AMS360 or other similar agency management system and superior computer skills
  • Easily adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment, demonstrating poise and professionalism in collaborative team environment

Administrative and Marketing Assistant (Portsmouth Office)

Seeking a proactive, quick study and meticulous self-starter to provide administrative support and marketing assistance to our dynamic and growing insurance agency. Sound judgment, ability to execute projects with precision and great attention to detail are key qualities for success in this position. Responsible for providing full-scope administrative support to Agency management and commercial lines team as well as assistance with marketing, communication and brand recognition initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience with WordPress a plus
  • Social Media experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to accurately proof-read documents with an eye toward detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional organizational skills required
  • Special event planning and project management skills highly desirable
  • Must be able to work independently, demonstrate a commitment to high levels of customer service and excel in a deadline-driven environment that involves multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive, privileged and private data
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills who is able to work with diverse groups and willing to assist wherever needed
  • Ability to approach situations and challenges with a sense of humor

Job Type: This is a full-time, hourly paid, non-exempt position.
