Our speaker, Merideth Wilson, is the Workers’ Compensation Special Funds Coordinator/Managed Care Specialist for the State of NH and has been since 2007. The Second Injury Fund (SIF) was created in 1975 as an incentive to employers to KNOWINGLY hire and retain a person with a pre-existing and permanent physical or mental impairment an opportunity to limit the workers’ compensation liability should that person sustain a compensable work-related injury.
